House CRICKETS (ACheta DOMESTICUS)
Within our breeding programme, our animals are selected for traits relevant to high production and survival. Because we are continuously improving our breeding line, returning customers can take advantage of ongoing genetic improvements in newer generations.
Crucially, our animals are free from Acheta domesticus Densovirus, a common disease in house crickets that reduces production and increases mortality. We also screen for relevant food pathogens to ensure that the breeding stock are not introduced with contaminated individuals, a situation that could threaten the sale value of the stock.
Thus by using our animals safer and higher production at a lower cost is ensured. No other company can offer the same quality as we do.
Our house crickets (Acheta domesticus) are:
1. Free of Acheta domesticus Densovirus
2. Subjected to qualified genetic selection on traits relevant to viability and high production
3. Tested for presence of relevant food pathogens
4. From a breeding programme that promotes genetic progression between generations
5. From a breeding programme that limits inbreeding
6. Selected to utilize sustainable feed resources
This will maximise your production capacity per unit input to improve the sustainability of this industry.
